Clothing
We recommend that you completely undress for body treatments and arrive in a bathrobe. However, your comfort factor is our top priority, and this also applies to your clothing.
Minimum Age
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the sauna and in the textile-free zones. For treatments, we recommend a minimum age of 16 years.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours before the start of your appointment. Appointments cancelled later will be charged at 100% of the amount.
Payment Options
In our wellness area, you do not need cash. We are happy to charge your treatments to your hotel bill or as an external guest on-site.
Sauna & Steam Bath
The Hotel Fürstenhof offers you a modern wellness area - immerse yourself in a world of relaxation and regeneration in our Finnish sauna and the two exclusive steam baths, the Blossom steam bath and the Herbal steam bath. In the Finnish sauna, temperatures of 80°C to 100°C provide relaxation, stimulate circulation, and strengthen the immune system. The Blossom steam bath indulges with gentle steam and fragrant flower essences. In the Herbal steam bath, natural herbal essences unfold their soothing effects.
Glauber's Salt Thermal Bath
As the only hotel in Germany, the Fürstenhof in Bad Bertrich offers a naturally warm Glauber's salt thermal bath with a constant temperature of 32°C (dimensions: 10 x 12 m). The thermal brine is extracted from a depth of 2,000 meters and consists solely of pure groundwater and spring water. This natural composition dissolves valuable sea minerals and trace elements that have been stored in the rock for millions of years. The medically tested natural brine demonstrably supports the skin and organism, providing you with an unparalleled wellness experience. Caves & Tecaldarium

The ice grotto offers perfect refreshment after a sauna session – ideal for cooling the body and promoting circulation. In the volcanic grotto, you will find a warm, soothing atmosphere that induces deep relaxation. The tecaldarium, a classic Roman sweat bath, pampers with gentle warmth generated by heated walls and floors.
